This is a beautiful antique basket hand made by a member of the MicMac native american tribe from Prince Edward Island, Canada. Appears to be early 1900\'s. There is some wear on the handle, and the weave on top. One of the two clasps for keeping the top closed is missing. Item is as pictured. Overall in good condition especially for its age. 22 inches wide, 10 inches high. A fine, large basket for any collector.
