Offered is a very rare and unique pair of antique hand carved & painted solid wood King Poodle dogs. Very well done with top workmanship. Each has inlaid glass eyes. We are dating them to be late 19th century, probably from France. Each in superb condition for the age with light wear to the paint and light chips to the edges of the fur. One has a light chip to the mustache and missing most of the tongue. Not obvious unless inspected closely. A possible repair / reattachment to a hind leg, although we believe they were made from separate wood pieces to begin with. The statues are almost identical in size, measuring 12\" tall x 12\" long x 5\" wide. Each weighs over 2 pounds. Shipping service i can provided by USPS 2-3 Day Priority, UPS or FedEx.
