Large Sterling Silver Cup / Goblet / Trophy, Hallmarked:

Handsome Edwardian goblet or trophy of large size.Beautifully proportioned featuring a plain knop and foot. The edge of the roundfoot is returned, supplying a more substantial base. The lip of the cup is also double thick, increasing the strength. No monograms or dedications.
All is in very good condition. The foot is bumped slightly(see photos). There are several very minor pinpoint dents and bumps, but theydo not detract. No splits or repairs.
Excellent piece made by James Deakin & Sons in 1908.

Before 1886 he was joined in partnership byhis three sons, William Pitchford, John and Albert and the style of the firmwas changed to James Deakin & Sons.
