This listing features a very largeantique brass Scottish RiteDouble Headed Eagle door knocker.It is in nice vintage condition. There is a small surface crack on the front shown in pics. I, myself, would leave the beautiful patina developed with age, others want the shiny brass look so I leave that to the personal preference of the buyer. This magnificent piece has a wing span measurement of 12 1/2\" and is 12\" top to bottom. The Newel Art Gallery (70+ years) in New York has an image of this door knocker and is identical in every way. I\'m sure they were made from the identical mold, right down to each stroke on the feathers and the size. The onlyy exception is their eagle is brightly polished and mine has the patina developed over time. Please feel free to ask questions.
