Here is a vintage uncirculated gold tone medal bearing the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary as the Mater Dolorosa. The left facing head profile is rendered in high relief and has a matte finish surrounded by bevelled concentric circles with glossy finish and precise radiant cuts.The verso is plain except for the incised mark \"Germany\". The medal is made of heavy gilded metal and measures 1 1/2\" across and weighs 12.3 grams.
