This is a lovelyVintage 1960s Hawkeye Burlington SewingBasket / Benchfrom Burlington Baskets of Burlington, Iowa.

It sits on a set of wooden legs whichcan be unscrewed to facilitate shipment.

Inside the lid there is colorful fabric with two deep elastic pockets for storage.

This greatold Sewing Bench is invery goodcondition, with only minimal signs of use. Thereare two small spots to the vinyl that show slight scuffing (see pictures) and the wooden legs have minor scratches, typical with age.

There are no tears, rips, stains etc. The accent banding is clean and tight.

The basket is approx. 9-1/2\" deep, 19-1/2\" long, and 12-1/2\" wide.

The legs add another 9\" in height.

An excellent piece of vintage storage for sewing accessories, knitting, handiwork, etc.
