Very charming and approximately 30\" high by 18\" wide at its widest part this hot air balloon form bird cage from France is very pretty. Clean in that the lower level of the cage is clean and I doubt this was used for a bird or if it was the bottom felt in the interior was replaced long ago.Door works on springs. Decorative swirls enhance the cage.A couple of breaks, one on the exterior trim and on one the interior edge, and the top is a bit wonky, crack on top of cage and hanger is missing. However, none of this detracts from the piece\'s charm and decorative use. Wear consistent with age and use. Please examine photos carefully. Will be double boxed with \"peanuts\" so box will be large so while weight is not great, bulk will add to postage costs. Pick up is free and welcome. Very unusual rare piece.
