I have owned this delightful Silvertone Wood radio for about 25 years. It dates to about 1948. It has been babied since the restoration at that time. Its an AM only model with a whimsical round light that follows the dial. It looks like the moon. It stays lit and moves when tuning. I get good reception and a full sound from the upgraded vintage speaker installed during restoration. I have looked at radios for decades, and seldom see this unit in any condition. Like most old radios, it takes a while to warm up and sound good. Location is very important for good reception!
