Most Unusual Late Art Deco (1930\'s / 40\'s) Torchiere Style 16+1/4-inch Marble-like Glass Shade Ceiling Light Chandelier / Cream Color Painted Fixture with Brass Accents and FinialAs shown in the photos the shade sets into the pan. The pan attaches to the fixture with 3 chains and hooks. Each chain is self adjusting for perfect balance. The fixture has a brass ball and socket swivel for perfect balance. The fixture has a large single porcelain socket for a standard size lamp (light bulb). Normally this type of ceramic socket can take at least a 100-watt light bulb. The design of this fixture is upward lighting (torchiere style) reflected off a ceiling.The canopy has a partial manufacturer label. Unfortunately the maker cannot be determined from the label.Note: When looking at vintage ceiling lights you may have noticed an identical ceiling light (\"30s marble glass ceiling light\") offered at hundreds of dollars more.The ceiling light has a drop / hang of approximately 19+1/2 inches. The shade has a 16+1/4-inch diameter and a 4-inch height. The ceiling light weighs 5 pounds.The ceiling light has been rewired and restored. The ceiling light was taken apart for re-wiring and restoration. Brass pieces are polished but not lacquered. Metal components are professionally repainted to match the original color and clear coated. The inside of the pan is painted silver metallic.The ceiling light includes mounting hardware and is ready for installation.
