Allyson is a one of a kind mohair bear, handmade by Lenore DeMent. Allyson is 20\" in length and weighs 4 lbs. She is made of rust colored curly mohair and is pellet and polyester filled. Her paw pads are ultra suede and feature an original signature by Lenore DeMent. Her eyes are black glass and her nose is stitched. Allyson is fully-jointed. She is dressed in a pink antique baby dress with a reproduction brooch. She wears a large black velvet bow upon her head. I am the first owner and paid $329 for Allyson. She was purchased directly from the artist at there 14th annual Teddy Bear Convention in Nevada City. From a pet-free and smoke-free home. MINT CONDITION.Lenore DeMent has shown her bears Nationwide and later began designing for large commercial bear manufacturers, including Knickerbocker. In addition to many other awards, she has been nominated numbers times, and won, the Golden Teddy Award.
