I have up for sale Rare, \"LEONA WATSON \", Antique Paper Lot, Letters, Newspaper Clippings, Newspaper Photographs, Character/cartoon Newspaper Illustrations, Charcoal Drawing, etc. All the paper is related to Leona Watson from the early 1900\'s and her Vocalist SopranoCareer. Collection is from her jilted boyfriend and a 4 page letter from Leona Watson. Envelope reads, \"Leona\'s letter to me before she eloped with?????\", (looks like Jack Unger?, not sure). Letter is very sad to read from boyfriend. Included: One four page letter on \"Hotel Victoria\" 7th Avenue at 51st Street, Letterhead paper to Leona from her mother. Another letter to Leona from mother, Three letters to mother from Leona,one letter dated 10/21/28. Three letters from Leona, but I can\'t make out who the letters are addressed to (all three addressed to the same person). One letter/note from Leona W. Chalmers (married name), marked personal! Seven letters from Chamberlain Brown to Leona dated 1945 throughout 1954. All together approx. 18 letters. Also included: Reviews From Various Papers in The USA for Leona Watson. (4 pages very brittle worn/torn). Fourteen, \"Broadway After Dark\" Newspaper Articles, Approx. 170 Clippings from Newspapers. (Brittle and cutout from the newspaper) all about Leona Watson and her career. Approx. 50 Newspaper photographs, all Leona Watson, including newspaper character/cartoon illustrations. One large charcoal portrait of Leona Watson, portrait is torn (please see pictures). I tried toresearch Leona Watson. Leona Watson was a famous Opera Vocalist Singer: Soprano~Actress. Born at about 1880 in Lexington, Kentucky. Her work was carried forward under Professor De Stephanie of Brooklyn. One of her famous plays, The Climax, 1909 by Edward Locke, Weber\'s Music Hall. Leona married Charles Chalmers and they had one child: Leona W. Chalmers. Paper Lot is very fragile condition, please see pictures for a better description.
