Offered for sale this week is this lovely rather large all composition doll. She measures approximately 24 inches in height and is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. There are no manufacturer’s marks on this beauty.

Her face is lovely and is sort of elongated and she looks more like a teenager or young lady as opposed to the usual composition dolls that I see. She has a head circumference of approximately 12 inches. Her wig is the typical synthetic and appears to be original to her. Her facial features are just sweet: painted single stroke eyebrows, nice eye shadow over her bright blue functioning sleep eyes( the eyes are a bit balky and don’t always want to sleep and wake without a bit of persuasion—usually just a sideways shake), applied fiber eyelashes and lots of lower painted eyelashes, cute little upturned nose, sweetly painted coral colored closed lips and very nice blushing on her cheeks. She has molded ears. There is a crack at the left side of her nose (I have marked this on a magnified photo—see my photos). She also has a repair to the back of her head at the neck socket (also pictured).

Her body is in pretty good shape, with a long slender torso and rigid arms and legs. She has some chipping on the index and middle fingers on her right hand (see photos) she has slight rubbing at her joints and a bit of slight crazing here and there, which is pretty typical of these painted compo bodies. She has slight blushing on her knees, bosom and backs of her elbows. Her stringing is fairly firm. She has no odors.
