Primitive firkin sugar bucket. 14\" tall x 15\" diameter at base. Has original lid and handle... copper tacks... no staples and four finger bands!!! Great bones!!

This large antique firkin is a project in the making.... the original layers of paint have been mostly scraped off.... looks like it was white, robins egg blue and a grey-blue color at different times in its life.

The inside is mostly untouched original wood but the top portion has been painted white as you can see in my photos.

The structural integrity of this bucket is awesome, and solid as ever..... no flaws.... aesthetically, the restoration possibilities are endless!!.... you may even enjoy keeping it just the way it is!
