DESCRIPTION:
This ROSEVILLEVase is 100% authentic original art pottery made in Ohio, USA in the late 1940\'s or early 1950\'s.

Magnolia is a late period line introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1943. Standard colors include blue, brown, and green. Some of the shapes have a Mid-Century Modern feel, with odd combinations of curves and angles. Although 65 shapes were advertised, there are only 62 shapes in the factory stock pages. Shapes include vases, baskets, bowls, jardinières, candlesticks, etc. Magnolia is marked with the raised Roseville USA script mark and shape number.

This particular piece is a classic example of this pottery -- stunning with lovely magnolias in relief gracing both sides of this vase. The magnolia is one of the most ancient flowering plants This piece hasa differentpattern on each side. The colors are strong and vibrant: the flowers are done in shades of cream, mauve and white-over abutterscotch /brown background behind the flowers, the stems are darker brown and black, the background is that wonderful butterscotch /brown that makes this pottery so prized!

Thisvase is a classic example of this pottery -- stunning with a lovelymagnolia blossoms in raised-relief gracing both sides of this vase.

Thisvase has a beautiful mold, stunning colors and glaze.

Very Nicecondition with no cracks, dings, breaks or repairs.

Itis approx.15 1/2\" talland approx. 10\" wide x 7 1/2\" deep -- This piece is very heavy weighing approx. 7 lb. before packaging
