This is a lidded 8\" tall beer stein, with no manufacturer mark on it. The main scene depicts a time in a butcher shop. It has two men, one pig looking critter, and one lady in her nice dress nearby. The bottom left corner of the scene has the words \"Des Jager\'s Beute\" written on it. The back and handle are a green ivory design with words written in German that I am unable to translate. This writing is in Old German Script and I cannot identify the capital letters, so please look closely at the photos. The part I can identify reads \"u. Biel Das Beste Spiel\".
This stein is 8\" tall 3 3/4\" diameter across the bottom, and it holds 1/2L capacity. (The marks are only visible for the /2L, so I am guessing that the one didn\'t imprint correctly.) The bottom is only marked with a 1 and a 560.
The weight of this lidded stein is 1 pound 7.7 ounces.
This is in very good condition, but the inside has quite a bit of crazing on it.
