This vintage life magazine dated April 7, 1952, has been kept protected in a plastic envelope with a cardboard backing. It features Marilyn Monroe on the front cover.
The magazine has light to moderate wear, with slight damage, which I tried to capture in the pictures. There is some warping along the top edge of the front cover and some breakage along the top of the first few pages. There is a half-inch tear vertically down the top left of the front cover, along with some scratch marks along the spine end edges of the front cover. Also, there is around a one inch vertical torn-out missing piece of paper on the first page of the magazine, as well as a one inch vertical tear at the bottom of the first page. The spine is a bit loose. There are two small tears on the back cover. The paper at the bottom of the pages is a bit brittle.
Also, there is browning around the edges and on the pages, It also has an old magazine smell.
All of this is consistent with a magazine being 65 years old.
