Amazing Very Rare Beautiful Antique 28\" (71cm) French Bisque
A Lanternier AL et Cie Favorite Ed Tasson Doll
Dressed in the most beautiful antique handmade French folk dress.
She is a stunning socket head doll
of the highest quality bisque.
She has her original composition ball jointed body.
She has the lady body that has the molded shoes & painted socks.
Made in France in the early 1900\'s,
she has pierced ears, original brown paper weight eyes
& open slightly smiling mouth & molded teeth.
She has a beautiful dark brown human hair wig
that is very long & thick.She is an amazing antique doll
in excellent condition.
She has a few minor wear spots but her head has NO damage.
She also has a little normal wear to the joint
areas on her body.
She has some fragile areas on her clothing
(see last photo)Her antique original handmade French Provincial clothing
is amazing!

to her skirt & shawl.
I believe even her earrings are original.

Her head is made of fine French bisque & she
has a Lady style Ball Jointed Composition Body
with molded shoes & painted socks.
EYES:
Beautiful dark brown French paper weight eyes with black liner &
the famous French style painted lashes and
and feathered brows.
FACE:
She has lovely face coloring with a slightly smiling open mouth
with 4 molded teeth.
She has pieced hears & she has gold hanging earrings.
HAIR:
She has her original long dark brown human
hair wig.
HEIGHT:
28 in / 71cm in height
CLOTHING:
Her clothing is amazing.
Please see the close up photos of the hand embroidery
done on the shawl & on the skirt.
This work had to be labor intensive.
This is her original outfit.
There is some wear on the skirt which is to be expected on a
hundred year old fabric.
She wears a blue skirt accented with gold & red thread.
Her shawl is matching but is edged in red fringe.
I tried to take many photos.
She wears an antique white blouse, pantaloons & slip.
She has dangling gold earrings that are also old.
(Because of the age & the wear of the fabric I was afraid to undress
her for body photos for fear of tearing her dress.)
This doll & her clothing are so amazing,
You will not be disappointed.
DOLL CONDITION:
This is stunning & rare doll.
She is close to or over 100 years old
and is in extremely nice condition.
She has no chips, no repairs, no breaks & no hairlines.
Her bisque head is perfect
and her original long human hair brunette wig
is lovely.
She has all of her fingers & her molded shoes are
in excellent shape.
(the paint may have been touched up at sometime)
she has light wear around her joints.
She is an amazing doll
that is rarely seen.
