This sale is for a beautiful, 100% ALL ORIGINAL, 1948 Lionel 726 Berkshire Steam Engine and 2426W Lionel Lines tender! Out of all of the Post-War Lionel steam engines, the 726’s have to be one of the most highly sought after and desirable, Post-War steamers!

The matte black paint on both the engine and tender still have their original factory patina to them and are crisp and fresh in their appearance! There are the faintest signs of handling on both the engine and tender.....no real signs of over abuse or use! The silver numbering is crisp, clear and consistent on both sides of the engine cab! The white LIONEL LINES lettering on the tender sides is white and very vibrant in its appearance!

The engine and tender both come with their original smoke pellets, 1948 inspection slip, instruction sheet, Lionel factory Smoke Unit notice! Both the engine and tender operate perfectly. The engine box is original and a brick......still factory sealed on one end! The 2426W tender box is a reproduction that Im throwing in. It will get the job done until you can locate an original one.
