Lladro, 01016966JAPANESE ELEGANCEis used but is in PerfectCondition. It is a Limited-Edition Collection Piece. A limited edition of 750units, depicts a beautiful young woman performing the traditional Japanese fandance. Originally, Japanese fan dancing was a symbol of social status. The fanswere hand painted and mostly displayed by aristocrats in formal occasions. Thefans and fan dancing were an inseparable part of the Japanese courts,especially during coronation and marriage celebrations. This elegant dancerwears a stunning kimono and has elaborately arranged hair and bold make-up. Thekimono, the headdress, the fans, everything in this piece was worked with theutmost detail. It has only sat in a curio cabinet, it hasno marks, nochips, no cracks, no scratches, no repairs and no crazing. The figurine issigned on the bottom and with its limited-edition number. It does come in its originalbox. Original box does show signs ofwear.
