My mother gave me this when I got married in 2002, and it was displayed proudly for many years. I kept the original box, but in the attic where it got all dusty. My husband and I are downsizing and getting rid of tchotchkes we don\'t need in the smaller place, and this is one that has to go (preferably now so that our toddler doesn\'t get the chance to knock it over and destroy it!).
If you\'re interested, the figurine is in excellent shape, and the styrofoam packing of the original box is also in fabulous condition, so that the box is certain to make it to you with the figurine inside still in show-room quality. You just won\'t be able to put the box itself on display. It\'s a gorgeous piece. From online, I learn thatit is a retired (since 2009) Lladro by the sculptor Francisco Polope and is also known as Novos Judios. It was issued in 1993 with the item number 01006028. It’s made of glazed porcelain and stands 9.5” tall, 4.75” wide. The original price was $695, but I’ve seen in elsewhere online (in pristine shape) for $445.
