This beautiful mechanicalwristwatch has the original magicmovement in an excellent status which was very well saved, considering ageof this watch and has been in addition updated and engraved by the craftsman.Each part of the mechanism, each millimeter it is decorated by a magnificent magic ornament in the form ofspider’s web with two spiders. The bridges in addition to extensiveskeletonization have been gorgeously engraved as well. All components embellished with exquisiteengravings give the elements more filigreed look and cause the incident lightto literally dance on this watch.
The branded original movement on the both sides is stamped a serialnumber #5.617.274. Such number isrepeated on the case lids. The serial number on the movement places the date ofproduction of this timepiece to 1937.The factory LONGINES afforded toproduce only expensive and high-quality equipment, and the mechanisms in theirwatches were high-class and thought over to trifles, therefore they were keptin perfect condition until now.
The vintage watch has a four-piece, double hinged case that was made especially for this watch to protect themechanism from dust and debris and to provide an extra layer of protection fromshock or moisture The inner case lid is stamped Longines. The inside of the case lid has the logo of LONGINES in the form the winged hourglass and the inscription around this symbol ‘‘EFCO –LONGINES’’.
The winding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.
