Los Castillo Taxco mid-century sterling and gemstone brooch and earrings. Modernist design with stones held in place by curled prongs.The brooch has a blue and green stone, measures 3 inches long and has a rolling \"C\" clasp that works properly.The back of the brooch is marked \"Los Castillo Taxco in a circle with Hecho En Mexico and the # 14 below that.
The earrings have screw backs,one green stone and measure1-3/4\" tall.One earring has Los Castillo Taxco on the screw back. The other earring has a stamp that is mostly worn off.Sorry, I do not know the stone types. They look like natural stones.Total weight is 39.7 gramsThese are vintage pieces that have some patina, especially on the clasp stick. Normal wear in the silver.
