Lot 3 Porcelain WEDGWOOD PETER RABBIT BOWL, Sisters FIGURINE & COTTAGE JAM POT:

These are 3 vintageporcelain items. Two of them are directly related to Beatrix Potter\'s story of Peter Rabbit. The first is a figurine of Peter\'s sisters Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail. It is marked F. Warne & Co Ltd, Beswick England. It is in excellent condition with a dirty bottom (that never shows) because it was once glued onto its display. Next is a Wedgwood bowl with writing and pictures from a page of the Peter Rabbit book. Mr. McGregor is chasing Peter with a rake. The bowl measures 6 3/8\" in diameter including the rim and it is about 1 1/2\" deep. It is in excellent, unused condition though ithas remnants of museum wax on the bottom where it was attached it its display. I always leaving cleaning to the buyer so that I don\'t accidently effect the value of an item. The last item isa porcelain cottage shaped jam, sugar, or honey pot marked BESWICK ENGLAND 244. The roof lifts off and there is a hole in one end for a small spoon. This could be Mr. McGregor\'s home!It is also excellent and only used for display.
