Up for sale is a Lot of 4 Antique Vintage Aesthetic Eastlake-Style Salvaged Brass Icebox Cabinet Hardware Parts - 2 Hinges/Brackets, a Latch Lock & a Misc Part. These were obtained from an sale along with some other icebox hardware parts (which will also be listed for sale). They are being sold for replacement parts/restoration. Just the parts as shown are included there are no mounting screws.
The lock is marked with a patent date that looks like the late 1800\'s (it\'s hard to read), so I believe they are from the Victorian era. I don\'t see any makers/manufacturer markings on the pieces - the latch lock looks to have a few numbers on the backside but it\'s hard to read. The pieces are beautifully ornate.
The lock appears to work as it should (there is no key included). It measures approximately 3 7/8\" long x 2 1/2\" wide. The 2 hinges are 3 1/2\" (not an exact measurement due to hinge angle) x 1 1/2\" wide. The 4th piece, which I\'m not sure what it is - maybe a catch, measures about 3 1/4\" long. Cosmetically, all are in vintage, worn condition. The 2 hinges have heavy paint remnants (multiple colors) and the paint is still flaking off. Otherwise, the metal on all parts shows tarnish, discoloration, oxidation, rust spots on the backside (where the cast iron lock part is), marks etc....
