Pair of super cute vintage lidded candy or powder tins.

One is oval shaped and has a Victorian floral motif with gold lace trim on edge of lid and pink roses on a black background.

The second is an art nouveau / Deco floral filigree motif in purple, pink, black gold and white with stars, vines, leaves and flowers on top and sides. Enamel paint style gives it a faux cloisonné look.

Beautiful boxes for gifting or personal stash of candy, trinkets, jewelry, cash, cosmetics, rings, barrettes, coins, teabags, spices.

The oval measures approx 6”W x 2.5”H

The octagon measures approx 5”W x 2.5”H

These are old items, but I don’t know exact age.

Condition of octagon tin:

NO DENTS. NO RUST. Colors are bright but there are some very light surface scratches and wear from storage and are only seen upon closeup examination. Displays very well. Top coat on lid appears more matte / dull compared to sides which are glossy finish. Not sure if it just needs a good cleaning or if this is surface wear. I will leave that to winner to determine. It does not detract from displayability.

Condition of oval tin:

HAS 3 SMALL DENTS IN LID. You can’t really see them when just looking. But you can detect them if you run a finger around the edge. You can see where they are if you look at the inside of the lid. SEE PICS

This tin has glue residue on sides from a label or sticker that must have been attached at some point.
