This is lot of 6 original Robert Spooner oil paintings on wood. Or called field sketches. They are all signed by the artist except for one. I spoke with artist and he authenticated these pieces. He originally gave them to his brother who lived here in Albuquerque. If you don\'t know this artist please google his bio. He told me every piece is first a photo that he takes personally then paints or is done in the field from real life. He also said that most of these were from Colorado. One from an art retreat near Littleton Colorado and few others from the Brown Palace in Denver. The two small pieces measure approximately 6 inches by six inches the landscape is approximately 7 inches tall by 12 inches wide. It says Field Sketch on the back and is signed in marker. The one of the lady in old clothes and feathered hat is called \"Charmed\" is signed on the back is approximately 9x10 inches. My favorite piece was painted while he was outside at the art retreat in Colorado of two of his fellow artist friends and their easels in front of old cabin at the ranch. The last is 10 and 1/4 inch by 11 and 3/4 inch of a lady at table the with tea or coffee cup. This is a great way to start a collection or add some of the artists personal pieces to an already existing one. See pics. Ask questions. Price was determined by today\'s value of similar sold pieces. Size, subject, colors, signed, provenance etc. All would look great framed.
