Lot of Vintage Sewing Items & Vintage Crocheted Pot HolderI liked the combination of these items - colorwise, which is why I paired them togetherThe Pot Holder can be used, hung or used as a needle/pin holder - the pink ombre into green is very pretty - it is ~6\" square.The two Button Cards match the holder perfectly - note one button missing on the green. Normal age wear on the cardboardThe Thimbles, 5 total, are all different:1. marked \"The Prudential Life Insurance\"2. marked Frutchey Silk Shop 4 W. 40 St. (Manhattan, NY I can safely guess) - the band where the lettering is must have been red at one time, there is little red left from age wear3. is plain and somewhat smaller than the rest4. has a floral design at the base and it is opened top to accomodate long fingernails.5. has a crosshatch type design along the baseAll show aged metal coloring.The Needle appears to be mother of pearl and hand carved and honed - the tip is very sharp. There is an eye and currently there is a green piece of knotted ribbon through it.To my eye it is MOP, but I can be only 98% sure - whatever it is, it is a very unique vintage needle. It is 2 3/4\" long
