Lot of two vintage Minnesota Tip of the Arrowhead travel souvenirs
- 1 rare, vintage, fold-out Map of Cook County, Minnesota with the Gunflint Trail and American and Canadian Lakes Adjacent to the Border. Printed by W. A. Fisher Company, Virginia, MN, copyright 1938. Map is bright blue and yellow with one colorful scenic photo, list of resort accommodations, sights to see, and Listing of lakes in Cook County and the Canadian border and the fish found in them. Map is in excellent condition for its age and suitable for framing.
- 1 vintage fold-out Tip of the Arrowhead in Minnesota travel brochure/map of Cook County. Printed by W. A. Fisher Company, Virginia Minnesota, copyright 1958. Brochure is a later production of the map listed above incorporated into a travel brochure. Brochure includes the blue and yellow map similar to the one above with Isle Royale National Park. Brochure includes three colorful scenic photos of the area, a list of resorts and motels, a list of sights to see, a map of Greyhound Bus routes to Duluth and the North Shore on one side of the map. On the other side are additional colorful photos and a list of several towns in the area to visit along with their attractions. Along the bottom edge is a mileage line starting with Duluth and ending with Grand Portage that indicates the distance between each city along the North Shore--an mileage to attractions close to the North Shore. A great travel souvenir in excellent condition for its age and suitable for framing.
