c.1880s pair of 4-1/2 inches across highly embossed valentines. One is gold, white, and pale blue and has a scrap of a girl in the center. The other is pink, silver, and white and has a lovely yellow rose with some lilies-of-the-valley. Illustration and verse inside.

Used (signed on the back in pencil). Valentines do not come from a scrapbook, but backs do show some grubbiness/soiling. Fronts are in nice, clean, brightcondition with minimal edge wear, some scuffing to rose scrap. Nice cards to add to your Victorian valentine collection. These would be great framed as a pair.
