PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION: Many Reference Books and Collection Volumes on Ancient Greek Coins are organised geographically, and unless you are an expert and can read Ancient Greek text (\"Its all Greek to me!\") then I would like to suggest a reference that can make initial identification of Ancient Greek coins much easier - \"Greek Coin Types and Their Identification\" by Richard Plant (ISBN 978-0-900652-47-9). Make sure that you read the Introduction, it isn\'t long, as this really gives a good explanation of the book and how to use it.
