These beautiful antique wallpaper borders were printed in France during the 19th century.
The first design features continuous stems of roses, lilacs and other flowers and leaves along with striped borders; the second design features
medallions, flowers, leaves, scroll work and fruit along with borders containing a geometric pattern;
and the third design features stems of tulips, roses, leaves and scroll work.The first wallpaper borders measures 13 inches long x 5 1/4 inches wide.
The second border measures 20 3/8 inches long x 5 1/4 inches wide.
The third border measures 33 inches long x 5 1/2 inches wide.
The fourth border measures 21 1/2 inches long x 5 inches wide.
The fifth border measures 34 inches long x 5 inches wide.These wonderful antique wallpaper borders would be beautiful framed!
They could also be great scrap booking or other art projects!Condition:
This is an old wallpaper.
All have tears that have been repaired with tape from the back.
All have creases and scratches as well as some chipping around the edges.
#3 has areas that appeared mottled/smudged in the background color.Please see photos for reference.
