Up for sale is a Lot of7 (all different sizes) Vintage Genuine Solid Brass Timing Gears For Vintage Traffic Light Controller Machines. (Sizes 90-80-75-70-60-50-40)
All of theselook to be in Mint Unused Condition!
The number stamped on the gear corresponds to the number of seconds it takes the gear to make a full revolution. This is also how long it would take for a light to make a full cycle from red to green to yellow to red again.
The gears are all the same thickness with the same size mounting hole in the middle. They just differ in diameter depending on the stamped number.
The last 3 pictures below show an old LS Series Traffic Light Controller with the 75 gear installed. These pictures are provided to show how the different gears were used and where they were installed in the controller. These controllers were used in the 1950\'s-1960\'s as noted on the original controller manual dated 1953.
These gears may have been used but are all in mint condition! Most do not even show signs of wear. These are the most common sizes used in traffic control modules but also included is the harder to find 40 second gear!
These gears are GUARANTEED to be in 100% perfect working condition!
