Lot of 8 genuine Spanish coins of the mid-1600s.
Note that the photos with the green ruler shown one side of the coins...photos without green ruler show other side of the coins.CONDITION....not bad for being over 350 years old. The photos vary,but the condition is like in the best photos. This are nice coins consider they were all hand-struck,not ma chine made, and of course circulated widely. You are holding history in your hands. One wonders how many times these coins sailed back and forth across the seas on Spanish ships.
SIZE....BECAUSE THE COINS WERE MADE BY HAND SO NOT PERFECTLY EVEN LIKE MACHINE MILLED COINS.. These coins were struck by hand and are never round.
