Up for offer is a lot of old engraving tools from an estate sale. There are 21 gravers and 9 misc items to include two compasses. The misc items were in the same box as the gravers so I assume they belong together. The larger compass is marked THE L.S. STARRETT CO., ATHOL MASS U.S.A. and is operational. The other compass is not marked and is not operational due to rust. Most of the bristles are gone from the brush.
I have not cleaned these and they are a little rusty ~ some more than others.. I will leave them as is when shipped. I can make out seven of them. Two are marked Rexard France, four are marked F. C. Muller NY, and one is marked EZRA F. BOWMAN LANCASTER PA. The others may be marked but due to rust I can not make them out. Someone with a little know how can probably clean and restore this lot.
