This is a 5 piece set of coffee and tea service with makers mark Towle Silversmiths of Newburyport, Mass. It does not have a monogram. The set are crafted of sterling silver composition with pattern # 76160. In the Louis the X1V pattern. This pattern was patented in March 17, 1925.

The 5 piece set consist:

Coffee pot, 6\" half pints, 10.25\" tall

Tea pot, 5 1/2\" half pints, 8 1/2\" tall

Covered sugar bowl, 6\" tall & 8\" wide from handle to handle,

Cream jug, 5 1/2 tall and

Open waste bowl, 3.25\" tall & 5\" wide.

All 5 pieces are footed and are round in shape at the bottom. The lids have ornate finials and the handles are ornately decorated also. Each piece is decorated with 4 floral medallions with leaves in center. All pieces are marked, Louis X1V, by Towle, Sterling, 76160, and patented March 17, 1925. The set is in excellent condition, no major scratches or dents. I am showing the sterling marks from one piece but all 5 pieces are marked.
