LOVELY ANTIQUE DOULTON OXFORD PATTERN 15” MEAT PLATTER AESTHETIC BLUE AND WHITE:

This isa graceful Aesthetic pattern from the early 1880s, featuring English flowersand a japanesque floral lattice. “Oxford” was produced in several colorways –blue, brown, rust, pink, and polychrome. Here we have a big blue and white earthenwaremeat platter, 15-1/8” long and 12-1/4” wide, large enough for a turkey.

Thisplatter is in excellent condition. The transfer is crisp and clear. There areno chips or cracks. Light wear to the base, light utensil marks, and a 1/8”ding on the edge are the only issues. It displays beautifully and is perfectlysuitable for use at table.
