Lovely Antique Green Transferware Slop Bucket Meakin England Flowers Butterflies
This sale is for a Lovely Antique Green Transferware Slop Bucket made in the late 1800s / early 1900s by J&G Meakin of England.
The pattern consists of green transferware design of large flowers and butterflies. The piece is thick and heavy “semi-porcelain.”
With its size and subject matter, the piece will instantly become a decorative focal point of any room.
It measures 10 1/4 inches tall and 11 inches across, including the two side knobs that hold a wicker handle.
The piece is in Very Good condition, especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or damage to the slop bucket with the exception of a small indent at the foot (last photo). The handle shows some wear but is sturdy.
The piece has a J&G Meakin England Crown backstamp.
I am selling many other semi porcelain and chamber set items and will combine shipping whenever possible.

I charge actual shipping and will send this either by USPS Priority Mail or by FedEx Ground, whichever is less expensive. If shipping works out to be less than you pay, I will reimburse the difference.
