This is an interesting slide from a collection containing many by Joseph Bourgogne and his two sons, Eugene and Charles. This is probably from the 1860s when they were producing slides together as \"Bourgogne Fres.\" The description is in French and my ability to translate is severely limited - the subject matter is large hence the number of through-the-lens shots to try to show it all. It is in very good undamaged condition with light signs of use/age. Unlike other Bourgogne slides we are selling, this one is very close to the English standard size of 3 x 1 inch.
