We are offering for sale a great example of a Georgian silver berry spoon, made by the most important specialist spoon-maker of the 18th century, Ebenezer Coker.

This fine table spoon sized serving spoon has been later decorated in the berry style with embossed fruits to the bowl and attractive floral flat-chased handle. The cartouche is free from personalised engravings and the bowl is gilt (gold-washed) to protect the silver from the corrosive effects of fruit juices.

The spoon has a good hefty weight and is in fine condition throughout with a good set of bottom-struck hallmarks.
