The pen has been cleaned and is in working condition however I would not recommend these pens as daily writers as the filling mechanism is over 100 years old and has potential to go wrong. I’d suggest this pen to be retired inside a collection somewhere
Barrel
No splits or cracks but does have a few marks, scratches and tiny dings from usage. The hallmark is sterling silver and visible but faded. This certainly was a working pen… The pen is free from any personal engravings.
Cap

Lovely rare pen that is in decent overall condition and free from any personal engravings but note that was a heavily used pen and hence has quite a few marks and scratches.
