Simple, elegant, Italian Venini Vase. The color is hard to describe really and is better appreciated in person. It is a very subtle, pale, light olive/light sage green. The foot is a translucent green that has a yellow tint. Again, somewhat hard to describe but a very beautiful combination. The interior is cased in white glass. The measurements are approximately 12\" tall x 10\" length x 5 1/2\" wide. Opening isabout 3 1/4\" in diameter.
There are no detectable scratches that I can see but this is a pre-owned piece of glass and certainly there are tiny scratches that I cannot see. There are no cracks or chips. The base is inscribed \"venini italia 84\". I have visited the Venini Factory in Italy and purchased glass directly from them and have no reason to believe that this vase isn\'t fully authentic. It is beautifully made and the form is certainly one that reflects Venini\'s style and quality standards.
