Lovely Vintage R&B Arranbee 17\" HP Nanette/Nancy Lee ? Doll -Late 1940-mid 1950s:

From an estate of a doll shop owner- a strung17\" hard plasticArranbee Nanette or Nancy Lee doll. She is marked R&B on the back of her neck.

She has blue sleep eyes with all lashes, although lashes on one eye appear fuller than on the other.Her sleep eyes are beautiful and open well but don\'t close all the way -see photo. I think she might have been re-strung, the cord inside looks newer. She holds her poses very well and stands on her own. All her limbs are present. No cracks or seam splits found.

While her facial features are bright and prominent, she does have some discoloration throughout in a form of light spots. The are noticeable mostly at close inspection though and she displays well.

She comes dressed in a pink dress which i think is home-made, and panties. She has a ribbon in her hair. Her hair is synthetic but i don\'t know what kind of fiber it is.

She has a mild odor detectable at close proximity and it\'s not distracting.

Overall she is a very lovely girl and will make a nice addition to your collection.
