Fine quality, antique German 800 silver covered Pen box - circa 1900.
Bears a set of hallmarks with the German crescent moon & Crown, \'800\' for the silver grade, the City \'DRESDEN\' and than a Sickle, the word \'MAU\' and a serial number \'122\'
Cylinder-form body, superbly hand-chased with figures of amorous couples, musical instruments, birds and many other motifs.
The lid with a full-bodied figure of a standing man.
Work quality is Superb, very precise and appealing - excellent finish.
Condition is excellent, no losses or restoration - minimal age ware.
It measures 20.2 cm tall x 4 cm in diameter - weight is 131 grams.
