BADGE #3713911966____________________The initial photo is slightly overexposed so key in on the remainder for a more accurate wrap visual.
The wrap has very slight fading/darkening as can be seen from the photos. Bearing edges are clean & the drum is in the round. THE WRAP FOLLOWS THE SEAM INTO THE SCARF JOINT. There is slight separation in the bottom re-ring but it is not anything abnormal.
All hardware has been removed, cleaned & polished with Cape Cod Clothes. Nickel hardware shined up well and is in fine condition with little wear of any kind. The wrap has been polished with NOVUS 1 + 2 and it greatly improved the appearance of the snare. There are a few light nicks and wear that didn\'t polish out but these are light. The throw-off doesn\'t always want to tighten down - there\'s nothing wrong with it; and I have no idea why it\'s a like this as there doesn\'t seem to be any damage or loose parts. An easy way to make sure it clamps is by pulling up a tad on the tension knob BEFORE clamping it down. This is very minor.
Both Ludwig heads are original to the snare - batter side showing heavier wear. Snare have been replaced as the original wires were shot.
Poor man\'s Ringo snares will surely increase in value just as the real deal Jazz Fests have (which average for about $4500).MAXWELL has one 5x14\" at $1400 ... but it ain\'t the 5.5x14\" version like this one (size does matter, for a variety of reasons ;}.
