Lugrin Swiss Vibratus 8 Day Clock / Watch. This Clock came to us from a local estate, but we are not sure how it was originally used. The shaft on the bottom looks like an automotive mount, but research suggests this may have been used in a travel clock. It is marked Vibratus and 15 Jewels / 3 Adjustments on the movement. It weighs 5.1 ounces (145 grams) and measures 65.5mm in diameter. The thickness at center is 18.6mm.
Condition: Missing winder and is untested and offered as-is. Physically, very good overall. The crystal has some spots of dirt, but is otherwise intact and scratch free. No hairlines seen on the face, although the gold colored material used inside the black number outlines looks shrunk in a few places. The cover on the back doesn\'t snap closed, but we didn\'t try to force it. The movement looks pretty clean, and there is some interesting toning in places, suggesting that maybe it is silver plated. There are a few dirt spots on the inside of the back cover, but it retains a mirror like finish. There is a slight crack in the shiny bezel surrounding the movement, a short distance below where the stem protrudes. All pictures show the actual clock you will receive.
