Up for your consideration are LUKE CAGE, HERO FOR HIRE #1 (1972 Hero For Hire Series) & MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #5 (1971 1st Series). All pages are present. / Both covers and the centerfolds\' staples are fully attached. / No restoration has occurred on either of the comics.

HERO FOR HIRE #1 - in my non-professional opinion, I would grade this comic at the FINE-/FINE (FN- 5.5/FN 6.0) mark. Blemishes aside, this comic has VERY NICE COSMETIC APPEAL. The inner pages are off-white to cream and, for their age, they are in excellent shape minus the discoloration mentioned and light signs of reading/use. The blemishes are spots of light to moderate spine wear and stress (light color breaks do occur, but they are not distracting minus a couple small spots right above the top staple), light spine roll, small but moderate impact to both spine corners, spots of light wrinkling on both covers (only visible under bright light and no color breaks appear to occur), spots of light creasing on the right edge of the front cover (small color breaks occur, but they are not distracting), the number \"1.75\" is written in barely visible pencil on the top left corner of the back cover and spots of light edge and corner wear on both covers (small picks/creases/wrinkles - not distracting).

MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #5 - in my non-professional opinion, I would grade this comic at the VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ (VG 4.0/VG+ 4.5) mark. Blemishes aside, this comic has VERY NICE COSMETIC APPEAL. The inner pages are off-white to cream and, for their age, they are in very nice shape minus the discoloration mentioned and light signs of reading/use. The blemishes are spots of moderate spine wear and stress (moderate/noticeable color breaks occur), light spine roll which breaks color in certain spots, small but moderate impact to both spine corners including a small rip on the top corner that goes down to the top of the 20 cent box, spots of light to moderate wrinkling/creasing/stress lines on both covers (only visible under bright light and most do not break color), anywhere there is white on the covers it has turned to off-white/cream (a little darker around the edges), moderate wrinkling on the top right corner of the back cover, a couple small/light scuffs on the front cover (center and center right edge), a light water mark on the bottom right corner of p.19 and bottom left corner of p.20 and areas of light to moderate edge and corner wear on both covers (picks/creases/wrinkles/small rips).
