Presented here is quite a significant group of books, due to its influence on Nicolas Cage\'s professional name. During his youth, his favorite comics included Luke Cage, Hero for Hire. This fondness carried over when Nicolas later became an actor, and decided to change his last name to match that of his favorite hero. Contained within this lot are his personal copies including the actual ones he purchased off the stands in the early 1970s. Of the many comics offered in this sale, we think it\'s safe to say these books were the closest to his heart.
The issue by itself is already a massive key issue with great Bronze Age significance. Even low grade copies are selling in the hundreds of dollars.
