Such a rare find! The quality of this early piece is incredible. Most laces of this caliber are in museums, and will never come to market. This was found in an exceptional San Francisco estate sale, private, not open to the public. No other information is available.

Turn of the 20th century

Italian

Completely handmade needle lace featuring highly detailed figures, with a romantic theme. The figures feature beautiful shading, using different stitches to create.

This coverlet is white cotton.

It measures 96\" x 62\"

Freshly hand laundered and in very good condition. We found a couple of single breaks and a few very light (hard to find) spots. (See photos.)

An investment piece for the seasoned collector, or museum.
