WE SPECIALIZE IN OLDER VINTAGE MOVIE WARDROBE AND HAVE THOUSANDS OF REAL MOVIE WORN ITEMS IN CURRENT INVENTORY! This is a LOVELY Period gown we are offering for sale! NOTE: The quality of workmanship in this gown is wonderful! The gown is done in a light ecru / tan sheer over cotton. The bodice has a V\'d neck front with vertical pleats shoulder to waist; the back of the bodice also has these pleats. There is a center front insert at the V of an ecru lace and a small stand up collar with lace and ribbon. The long sleeves are done in the sheer with horizontal pleating done about 1/2\" apart. There is tatted lace around each armhole - I am showing close ups of it. Some of the lace has frayed apart and needs to be replaced / repaired. The sleeves taper to a snug wrist with snaps at the wrists to keep them snug. Originally there was an attached sash / belt but it no longer attached - a bright colorful sash would be outstanding on this gown! The long skirt is VERY full. It is an 8 gore skirt with pleats about 14\" long at each gore. This is a Very Elegant Classy style! This gown has a label from Western Costume Company. This is a custom gown and measures APPROXIMATELY a 32\"/33\" bust and 23\"/24\" waist. NOTE: This wonderful gown has a repair at the top of one of the pleats and some fraying to the sheer material near the hem. Please keep in mind the age of this gown and the fact that it WAS WORN in the movies it should be professionally cleaned! This is a beautiful collectable and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
