Wow, how to describe these fabulous Louis XV Style wall sconces. Your best bet is to enlarge the photos and take a close look. They are absolutely outstanding! The back is a torch like design with a large ribbon in bronze at the top with three acanthus leaf arms that have a gorgeous frosted glass orange rose shade. Very heavy since they are bronze and 21\" in length. They are in great condition with some wear to the gilt on the bronze and some minor chipping on the inside of the rose where it fits into the lamp (as is common with these types of shades). These were probably made in the late 19th century or very early 20th century. These will be expensive to ship and will probably have to ship the shades in a separate box to protect them.
